Modern Slavery Statement
Man with van Frognal Modern Slavery Statement
Man with van Frognal is committed to conducting its operations with integrity, fairness, and respect for human rights. This Modern Slavery Statement sets out our approach to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in our own activities and throughout our supply chains. It applies to all employees, workers, contractors, and suppliers engaged by Man with van Frognal.
Our Commitment and Zero-Tolerance Policy
Man with van Frognal has a strict zero-tolerance policy towards modern slavery in all its forms, including forced labour, child labour, bonded labour, servitude, and human trafficking. We do not tolerate any practice that exploits individuals, undermines their dignity, or violates their fundamental rights.
All individuals working for or on behalf of Man with van Frognal are expected to uphold this commitment. We require that our business partners and suppliers share these values and adhere to standards that are consistent with our own. Any breach of this policy is treated as a serious matter and may result in the termination of business relationships and, where appropriate, referral to the relevant authorities.
Our Business and Supply Chains
Man with van Frognal operates within the transport and removals sector, providing logistics, moving, and related services. Our supply chains include vehicle leasing and maintenance providers, fuel suppliers, equipment and packaging providers, and a range of subcontracted service providers. We recognise that the risk of modern slavery can exist at different levels of these supply chains, particularly where there is reliance on temporary labour, subcontracting, or overseas sourcing of goods.
We are committed to increasing transparency and visibility across our supply chains and to working only with partners who demonstrate responsible and ethical practices.
Supplier Standards and Audits
To support our zero-tolerance approach, Man with van Frognal is implementing supplier standards that address labour and human rights. We expect suppliers to:
Comply with all applicable labour, employment, and human rights laws in the countries where they operate. Prohibit the use of forced, bonded, or involuntary labour and ensure that all workers are engaged on a voluntary basis. Ensure that no child labour is used and that minimum working age requirements are observed. Provide fair working conditions, including reasonable working hours, fair wages, and safe workplaces.
We conduct risk-based assessments of our suppliers, focusing on those operating in higher-risk sectors or regions. Where appropriate, we carry out audits, site visits, or request evidence of compliance with labour standards and human rights obligations. Any significant concerns identified through these processes are addressed through corrective action plans or, if unresolved, by ending the relationship.
Reporting Concerns and Whistleblowing
Man with van Frognal encourages all employees, contractors, and suppliers to report any concerns or suspicions of modern slavery or unethical conduct. Reports may be made to line managers, senior management, or designated company contacts. We will treat all concerns seriously and handle them sensitively and, where feasible, confidentially.
We prohibit retaliation against any person who raises a concern in good faith or participates in an investigation. All allegations will be reviewed promptly and, where appropriate, investigated. If modern slavery is identified or suspected, we will take immediate steps to protect affected individuals, cooperate with relevant authorities, and address the root causes within our operations or supply chains.
Training, Awareness, and Responsibilities
Responsibility for overseeing this Modern Slavery Statement and our broader human rights commitments rests with senior management. Operational managers are responsible for implementing the policy within their teams and ensuring that suppliers understand our expectations.
We are working to increase awareness of modern slavery risks among staff, particularly those involved in procurement, supplier management, and frontline operations. Training and guidance are provided to help staff recognise warning signs, understand reporting routes, and act in a way that supports our zero-tolerance policy.
Monitoring, Annual Review, and Continuous Improvement
Man with van Frognal is committed to continually improving its approach to tackling modern slavery. We monitor the effectiveness of our measures through regular review of supplier performance, incident reports, and feedback from stakeholders.
This Modern Slavery Statement is reviewed annually by senior management to ensure it remains appropriate and effective. As part of the annual review, we consider changes in our business activities, emerging risks within our sector and supply chains, and developments in best practice and legislation. Where necessary, we will strengthen our policies, procedures, and training to enhance our ability to prevent, identify, and address modern slavery.
By issuing this Modern Slavery Statement, Man with van Frognal reaffirms its commitment to ethical business conduct, respect for human dignity, and the elimination of modern slavery in all its forms.
